When replacing the screen on iPhone 14 models, the phone will report that it has a different screen or third-party screen installed.
Important screen message. 'Cannot confirm that this iPhone has a genuine Apple screen.'
The reason for this is that the screen is equipped with a microcontroller chip that is paired with the phone's logic board. This pairing is broken when any screen is replaced.
It starts as a persistent message on your lock screen that lasts for four days.
After that the warning is added to Settings for 15 days and then to Settings > General > About >.
It has also been added to your 'device information' so Apple staff can see it afterwards.
The new screen will however be fully functional.
